I — In Government
From Rashtrapati Bhavan to 12,000 villages
As Advisor and OSD to Dr. Kalam from 2009 to 2015, he led implementation of the PURA mission — Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas — connecting more than 12,000 villages through a single knowledge platform.
The model was adopted nationally as the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee RURBAN Mission, on whose Advisory Board he served

Institutions that outlive their founder
The Kalam Centre operates 450+ free libraries across 14 states and places auxiliary teachers in 300 government schools and juvenile centres through the Kalam Bharat Fellowship. Those fellows have trained more than 250,000 children in emerging skills.

III — In Technology
Artificial intelligence, taught in Hindi
He is the lead architect of AI for All — a 75-hour artificial intelligence course delivered in Hindi to more than 150,000 students with no coding background, across science, commerce and humanities streams.
The programme has collectively delivered over 100 million learning hours.

Founded to carry Dr. Kalam’s mission forward. 450+ free libraries across 14 states, a multilingual animation laboratory producing content for underprivileged children, and the Kalam Bharat Fellowship placing 600+ auxiliary teachers in government schools.

Homi Lab
World's first Future Learning Lab. Eleven immersive, VR-enabled centres across the country teaching emerging sciences and virtual laboratories that replicate electron microscopes, X-ray diffraction and NMR instruments so students can run experiments that no ordinary campus could afford.

A policy and technology effort for universal access to clean drinking water, including India’s first water startup incubator, inaugurated by the Vice-Chairman of NITI Aayog.

With the UK Centre for Astrobiology at the University of Edinburgh — Indian students working alongside experts from the European Space Agency, NASA and Australian space agencies on technologies for human habitation on Mars by 2035, from a research facility 2.5 kilometres underground.
