True alchemists do not turn lead into gold, they change the world into worlds. Writing is perhaps, still one of the most persuasive means of instilling hope and inspiration in the masses. We have among us today, Mr. Srijan Pal Singh who has been since long, spreading invaluable inspiration among the Indian youth. An author, public speaker and social entrepreneur, he is best known for the bestselling book ‘Target 3 Million’, which he co-authored with our former president, Dr.A.P.J Abdul Kalam. Srijan is one of the leading young activists in India and has worked with Dr.Kalam , as his Officer-on-Special-Duty and Advisor for Science, Technology and Policy. He was engaged in promoting various assignments such as "What Can I Give Movement", Energy Independence for the nation, nuclear and space missions, and Providing Urban Amenities to Rural Areas. I n 2012, Dr. Kalam and Srijan Pal Singh founded the Kalam Foundation where Srijan was appointed as the Managing Director. After the demise of Dr. Kalam, Srijan continued the visions of former president while acting as the CEO of the foundation. For his commitment to the missions of Dr. Kalam, he is often regarded as Dr.Kalam’s intellectual successor. Srijan has also co-authored Delhi Metro : Excellence in Management, published by UNDP. He also takes lectures on community action, leadership and development in IIM Ahemadabad and IIM Indore. He is a public speaker and has spoken at various events including TEDx , Australia India Youth Dialogue and has contributed to leading national newspapers like Rajasthan Patrika and The Hindu.
